Anorak

When we were last at Borders, I picked up a cool and cute kids magazine called Anorak. It has some of the cutest illustrations I've ever seen and it's such a joy to see a magazine for kids which isn't tacky and full of horrible ads for stupid plastic toys.

And although it might be a silly comparison, I think it's a lot like Selvedge, only it's for kids. I guess the common denominator is quality. Kids need quality too, not just brainless entertainment, right!?

I think it's really inspiring. It's colourful (in the good way) and happy. I hope this magazine will be around for many years, and stay fresh and happy.
