Cards with a punch

Have you ever seen such a cheesy title? These are a couple of cards I made recently. The red one is for Tony's mum and the other one was for one of my colleagues. I really like both of them, but especially the red one.

And it only looks like this by accident! I had punched too close to the edge on one of the red squares, so I had to hide it somehow, and that's where the idea to put the flowers and leaves on top of the squares. And beyond. Don't be so square...

Have I mentioned how much I love my paper punches? They are paddle punches, so you need a hammer. That is strangely satisfying. Noisy, but satisfying. And they cut through felt, fabric and card without any problems. Fab-tas-tic, I say!
