The place is called Bindeballe Købmandsgård and it is in a teeny tiny town that feels miles away from anywhere. And it kind of is. But it is also fairly close to Billund airport and it is well worth a detour if you're in that neck of the woods.
Old coffee tins and packages. Aren't they cool? I am sorry that some of the photos are a bit blurry. It was difficult taking pictures in the place because one room was quite dark, but the next one had large windows. I felt a bit sneaky taking pictures so I wasn't going to try and get Perfect Pictures lest someone came and told me off. ;-)
How cute is that?
This one is seriosuly blurr (in case you hadn't noticed!) but I hope you can still appreciate the funny fellow on the 'Adamas Cigarettes' poster.
This place also sold all kinds of old-fashioned beer, toys, household goods and sweets. I had to get some of those! (hello rustne søm, dameskrå og spejderhagl!) Which of course was yet another opportunity for my mum to tease me.
I hope this embedded thing loads properly - you should be seeing a Google Streetview view of the place.
