Catalogue with style

The fabric store Stof og Stil is about 10 minutes drive from my parents' home. I usually visit it whenever we are in Denmark. I would be remiss if I didn't, right?! Anyway, they put out catalogues twice a year (I think), one for Clothing and one for Home.

I picked up a copy of each last time -and, yes, I guess it is a bit silly to bring home catalogues for a store that I can only visit if I hop on a plane! But I digress. The Clothing one wasn't that interesting, although I do like the top on the front, you can see it there on the left. Pretty, huh?

Anyway, let's have a gander at a few pages from the Home catalogue. It is beautifully styled, you'll see that below, but it also has pages of instructions for different sewing related stuff. Like this page that shows how to make bias binding. Makes the catalogue worth more because it is not just 'a pretty face'..

I love every single print in the patchwork here. So colourful and retro. I saw some of these prints in person and they are in better! I would happily have bought an extra suitcase and filled it with those gorgeous fabrics!

Another patchwork. Loving those fabrics. And as much as I like intricate quilt patterns, I must admit that this is what I prefer the most. Fairly large pieces so the prints are really shown off.

Heh, so cute! I love the triangular shelves. In Danish it is called an 'Amagerhylde'. Do people have them in other countries? What do you call them? I distinctly remember one in my grandparents' living room, filled with precious knick-knack.

I love stof og stil even though I have never been to their store. I have only ordered online and only seen the catalogues on their website. Would love to have the catalogue in print since it is filled with great ideas and really inspiring.
Thank you for a great blog btw :)

I agree, I don't think the clothes-catalogue was very interesting, seemed to be lots of old designs. But I love their home-catalogue, lots of great colours and prints :D
