Charlotte's Fancy

Hello! Molly from the (I can't believe it is new to me) fun and inspiring blog Charlotte's Fancy very kindly featured my work yesterday. The blog is full of artsy, craftsy and stationery goodness and I really, really (really!) think you should pop over there for a visit!

Thank you, Molly!

Goo-ooooodness me, Easter has completely thrown me, I barely know if I am coming or going. Also, the last couple of days I have been working on drafting a pattern to make a top for myself. And I have pretty much finished sewing the muslin, but (yikes!) it most definitely doesn't fit properly. The back and the sleeve are poofing out. This being my first go at making a pattern on my own, I haven't got a clue what that could be. It is at times like this that a girl needs her sewing-genius mum! ;-)

I hope you all had a lovely Easter!

love a bit of blog❤:
as for home made tops ~ put on inside out, pin and shape: trial and error:
when I used to make my own creations, many moons ago, I'd make a mock-up out of calico, tack it together and fit until happy: undo and use as pattern block:
good luck!
show and tell when you've done:
