A happy little giveaway

Let's have a giveaway. Just a little one. But happy and colourful! One of these felt strings which will bring a happy fuzzy feeling to any room. I know I look at mine and think happy thoughts on a daily basis!

Leave a comment on this post and tell me what makes you happy. And maybe why. But that is up to you.

You must also tell me which string you prefer, multi colour or red/white/blue and of course there must be some way for me to get in touch with you. I can't accept Anonymous 'entries'...

You have until Monday 19th! Go!

Comments are now closed. Thank you all for sharing what makes you happy!

All sorts of things make me happy. But, a little one I realized yesterday after the rain had let up was how happy it makes me to look out our back sliding door to see the rain-darkened trunks of the trees in contrast to the spring green leaves sprouting from the branches.

I'm also in love with the multi-colored string!
What makes me happy are those moments where the world seems to stop spinning and everything is perfect. Pure joy in a tiny package.

Oh, I'm in love with the multicolored one! We've been gathering things for our first baby's nursery (he's due at the end of May, so there's not much time left!), and I think that multicolored garland would be very festive for a little one. Babies need happy rooms, after all!

Got my eye on a multi-colored ;) I love what I'm doing right now - curled up on the couch after a long day, with a book or browsing craft blogs.... and I look over at my sweet greyhound curled up next to me - she is my love!

I think the blue white and red ones are more "Me", but I like the multicoloured ones best.

What makes me happy?
My daughter, she's 2. She woke at 7 this morning, I got her in bed with us for a cuddle while we all came round. Eventually she started trying to wake me by prising my eyes open. I gave in and opened them myself. Her first words to me were "Are you happy Mummy?" How could I not be with her grinning at me asking me that?

What makes me happy - warm weather, sunshine, and laughing kids...the way that my 1-year-old daughter growls, barks, and laughs at every dog...other things: long eyelashes, sore muscles, and creating.

other sources of happiness: pretty colors, inspiring blogs ;) , johnny-jump-ups, and chocolate.

Hi Carina,

Spring makes me happy because it's my favorite time of year! I love the freshness in the air, carpet of flowers, new green leaves, nature's vibrant colours at its best, and the pocketful of sunshine accompanied by the soft cool breeze.

Actually, happiness doesn't have to come from those things or anything at all. It is found in our hearts and multiplied greater when we make others happy too.

I love all your works and both of your felt strings, preferably the multi coloured one. Fingers-crossed that I get it!

Looking forward to hearing from you.

The thing that is making me the happiest at the moment is looking at the feeds of all my favourite craft blogs. I've only recently just got back into creating little masterpieces and i'm inspired every day!

hmm, what makes me happy. I think I'm the happiest when I'm making & discovering new things and spending time with people I love. Kinda cliché but I never want to stop learning and being involved in my life and the lives of my friends and family.

Also...winning awesome multi-colored garland giveaways from adorable blogs makes me cheery as well. ;)

Point is....very cute idea. I love it.

What makes me happy? Well, what IMMEDIATELY comes to mind is your blog and your work. Truly. I'm killing a little time looking for inspiration and I amble over to your blog (via my flickr contacts) and there is all this wonderful color and intelligence and humor. I don't know whether to eat your pictures or put on sunglasses. So thanks. Art made me happy and it was your art!

Right now I am not happy. Don't even mind if I win or not. But even if I am not happy there is always that little happy place in my heart that I can escape to, which contains all the love of my little Lucy for me and from her to me back :)

I wasn't so happy until yesterday when we finally found a place to live for the end of the month! I am beyond happy now. I really like the multi-colored one, I would hang it up around the little crafty corner I'm setting up for my girls :)

What makes me happy? Crochet, sun, trees so many things in the spring :)

Colour makes me happy, as does seeing my rhubarb growing in the spring. It could be that pink in the brown of the dead leaves and dirt. My kids make me happy, espeicially the two who no longer live at home. I am only touching the tip of the iceberg here.

What is the circle cutter you use for the circles? It intrigues me.

Multi-coloured would work best, thanks!

So many simple things keep me happy. Since I just ran around the house and did a bit of tidying up, I'll say being somewhat organized and ahead of the game is a happy feeling! :)

I would choose the multi-colored ones if I were to win.
