Sky beauty

When I was 13-14 years old I wanted to become an astronomer. But I changed my mind when I realised that there would be quite a bit of math involved in becoming a professional stargazer. Math isn't exactly one of my biggest interests!

But I still enjoy looking at the night sky and what a beauty you can admire at the moment! Venus. And the waxing crescent Moon. If you have a clear sky at around 9pm, this is what you will see right now, if you look to the west. In this part of the world anyway.

Whenever we are in the local Generic Electronics Store Tony asks me if I want a telescope -they have them right by the entrance- and I always say no-thank-you. But maybe I should get one. Would also be very handy for spying on neighbours, right?

Hope you had a nice weekend.
