  2. I really like using felt on cards: I made a really cute Valentine's Day card with a big red heart for my loved one. My favourite colour is probably Lavender although Clematis & Amethyst give it a run for its money...

  3. would have a few ideas what I could do with these gorgeous felt squares. I am soon gonna decorate Lucy's new bedroom and would use the felt for that. i could make loads of lowers garlands to hang over her furniture and wrap around her white metal bed frame. Or I was going to paint flowers on her walls but now I am thinking I could make some felt flowers instead and stick them on the walls. or loads of felt patchwork cushions in all the colours of the rainbow to scatter all over her room and make it real cosy. the choices are endless...

  4. Oh so many beautiful colors! Hot Sahara is my favorite. If I had the felt I'd first make a colorful nest for my crocheted birdies and then used left-overs for making small soft toys like I used to when I was a kid, decorate an album or note-book cover with applique and use the rest for making some fun jewelry!

  5. OH Coconut Ice is so refreshing! I love that color! But it was really hard to pick, I could make an argument for all the colors!

  7. oh how delish!! I am going to be greedy and say all the colours of the rainbow. These would make beautiful flower scarves sewn together in a huge long strand to wrap around my neck and give as teacher gifts at the end of the year. Lovely soap pockets decorated with ric rac and felt flowers. The scraps? What scraps? Finger puppets, little treasure bags, flower brooches/hair clasps that attach to the front of a birthday card to donate to the school fete. What beautiful colours. What endless possibilities.

  8. I want to try to make something of felt for quite a while..I'd love to make little flowers as embellishments for my travel journal. Or some other shapes :) And maybe a headband decoration or use it like a jewelry :)

  11. I'm making my 2 year old a play kitchen, so I'd definitely use the felt to make play food! Can't you just imagine the rainbow of cupcakes and salads and little petit fours? Yum!

  12. If I had to pick a favorite, I'd say "tango", but there are a lot of beautiful colors!

I know it's not mind-blowing, but I like to make felt jewelry, particularly brooches and cuffs/bracelets. Also, I made a ton of Christmas ornaments with felt last year, and probably will make more this year too.

  28. Hi Carina,

This is such a lovely giveaway! I run a free textile group for children from 7 - 11yrs and I think I would make some crafty bits with them. I find felt is brilliant for children - no fraying fabric or hemming to be done. We’d probably make some little needle cases in fun shapes and decorate with beads and buttons...plenty of glorious colour!

  29. All the colors are yummy - but "thistle" is very pretty. I would love to try to make something out of good felt. I just have the stuff from Michael's (our big craft/hobby store).

  33. It is so hard to pick a favorite color. Lately I've been drawn to reds and pinks - so I just love Splendid Pink and Raspberry sorbet, but then I notice the blues (Trafalgar! Love in a Mist...), and greens (arundel and Linden), and then there's yellow (fiesta gold, yellow crocus, primrose)...

I just bought a new couch, so I think that I'd make a pillow with felt applique. I'm thinking that the image would be a cupcake. Or maybe a bird. Or maybe one of both.

    Thanks for hosting the give-away!

It would match excellently well with my newest coral drop beads that my boyrfriend bought for me - I look or materials to combine them with in my jewellery but i don't have much pink.. i have mostly green and blue
