How beautiful is this packaging? Vanilla sugar bought in Denmark. I don't like the English vanilla sugar so much, so I usually buy some in Denmark. It always surprises me how there can be 'big' differences in little things like this between the two countries...
It is totally retro! I really don't think it has changed in many years. And in my book that is a good thing. If it ain't broke, why fix it? I wish more companies would stick with 'the classics'.
I don't know if you can tell, but the word on the paper bag isn't just printed on it. It is actually letterpressed onto it! So beautiful.
Are you surprised that I told Tony 'don't throw that packaging in the bin!'..? He wasn't surprised. He gave that little smile, which says 'I know you so well, I saw this one coming' and that he thinks I'm kinda silly but also kinda cute. ;-)

What is vanilla sugar? Is it sugar favored with vanilla? I've never heard of it before.

But yes, it is sugar with vanilla flavour. It is used in baking. :-)
