Merry Christmas!

Our Christmas "tree"
This, believe it or not, is our Christmas tree this year. Very minimalist, huh? I love Christmas trees and it's a bit sad that we didn't have one this year. But on the other hand, atleast I won't be finding the needles in odd places for months to come!

I would like to thank you all very much for coming by this blog and sharing bits and pieces of yourself in the comments and your very sweet emails. And thank you also for your interest in and support of Polka & Bloom; 2010 has been a very special year because of you.

Below are a few photos of things that make a Danish Christmas. I hope they make you drool just a wee bit. ;-)

And with that I'm wishing you all a very happy and festive Christmas.

Christmas sweets

Hazelnut and chocolate sweet
Chop some roasted hazelnuts, mix with chocolate melted over a bain-marie, leave to cool in the fridge for a few hours. Yum-my!

Brunede kartofler

Risalamande
