I ♥ thread

I got a fresh supply of embroidery thread last week - not a bad way to begin a new year! And I treated myself to a new pair of embroidery scissors. I say 'new', like I've had an old pair for ages, but I haven't. These are my first embroidery scissors. :-)

I think you can guess that I kinda like embroidery thread, yes? I also like taking pictures of it. So I thought I'd just go the whole hog and set up a Flickr group, Embroidery Thread Lovers, just for photos of embroidery thread - any kind of embroidery thread: crewel, satin, six-strand etc etc. I'd love if you'd join in and share your photos of embroidery thread.

Presuming you have some. Or maybe I'm the only one who's sad like that..? ;-)
