I've got an Advent calendar of sorts for you. I set myself a challenge to come up with fun ideas to wrap the little gifts in Tony's advent calendar. None of them could be exactly the same and I had to use what I already had. I'll share one idea with you each day for the next 24 days. I hope you'll like 'em!
Next week I'll show you pictures of the advent calendar itself, because it's kinda cool (if I do say so myself) and it's another project where I could only use what I already had in my stash. :-)
This first wrapping idea is strips of tissue paper folded lengthwise and then either glued or taped together to make the layers. And then you wrap your gift as you would with any kind of paper. You can add more or less layers, use different kinds of paper. You can keep it simple like this, or maybe some ribbon.
In other news, my Feeling Stitchy colleague Nicole and I are working on a fun project which I'll be telling you a bit more about later this month. It's something we've been talking about for ages and now we're finally kinda close to making it happen. Can't reveal it quite yet, but as Nicole says "it will surely bring colour to the grey dull month of January."
