Studio 2.0 + California!

Studio 2.0

Hi! Wow, it's September in a couple of days. This summer has just flown by. Mostly with getting my studio back in order! That picture above is a collage of a couple of pictures I took on Sunday when I was all set to move stuff into the studio! #kermitflail !!

Most things have moved back in, so now it's a case of shifting them around to find their best home, it could take a little while to get everything in their right places.

Now that the studio desk and all my materials have been shooed out of the rest of the house, it feels so much bigger. We can use the conservatory as a conservatory again! :-)

The house feels so much more...cosy now. It makes me very happy. I feel like good energy is flowing through the house. I'll share some pictures soon. :-)

And now for something completely different! I think I have mentioned once or twice that my sister lives in California? Well, of course, that means that we don't see each other very often. But even less so in the last four years, where life events have conspired so we haven't seen each other at all. FOUR years! That's a long time not to see your sister. Especially when she goes and has twins who are now almost two years old! Thank goodness for Skype!

I miss my wee sister. Soooo, I'll probably be going to visit her and her family early next year. Yes! I'm so happy!

And then I got to thinking (yeah, always dangerous, right?) - when I did my class in London earlier this year, I had a few people contact me and say it was a shame they were in the US so they couldn't do the class. So, here's the idea I had: how about if I could teach a class while I'm in California? That would be fun! I don't have any concrete plans at all at this stage (except that it'd be in the Napa/Sonoma area, probably), but if that's something you'd be interested in, please sign up for this separate newsletter. When you do so, you will receive a welcome email with a link to a little survey that will help me (hopefully) make this class a reality. Thank you! ♥

PS Speaking of classes! I'm teaching a class in creative patchwork-y embroidery at My Bear Paw in Edinburgh in just a few weeks, September 24th to be precise. Just a few places left!
