About

Hello and thank you for visiting!

My name is Carina and I design colourful embroidery patterns for your stitching pleasure. You can find the patterns (and ebooks) in my shops on Payhip and Etsy.

Carina's Craftblog is my personal craft blog where I share the things I make and my thoughts on creativity. You will also find tutorials for embroidery and sewing. I also share the occasional post about day trips, vegan recipes, trips to Denmark and tips about blogging.

If you have any questions about the blog, like if you can use my images and text, please check out the FAQ page. If you don't find the answer there, you can email me: carinascraftblog [at] gmail.com.

I am Danish but now I live in Essex in England because I married an English guy. We live east of London in small house with a blossom tree and we have a dog called Blake.

When I am not embroidering, I can be found crocheting, sewing and painting. I like the colour green. When I was little I wanted to become an astronomer.

My first book, Stitched Blooms, was published by Lark Crafts in autumn 2013. My second book, Romantic Motifs, will be published by Search Press in August 2016.

To see where else I've been published, check out the My work in print and the Press pages.

Thank you for the great directions on joining a granny afghan with more granny stiches. I tried it and it looks great! just what I was looking for after trying slip stitching it together.
